The Phillies won the battle against the Giants but lost the war against the trade deadline. Jason Vargas and Corey Dickerson were the only names added and it is clear the team was not willing to part with prospects just to improve this year. With all this being said the Phillies currently occupy the 1st wild card spot as we move to August. What did you think of the trade deadline?!?
