The Phillies continue to start the season off strong and take the opening game of the series against the Nationals. The Phillies ride the long ball for another day as Hoskins homers twice and Herrera hits his first of the year. Velasquez was strong in his first start of the season going 5 innings and giving up 2 runs. Pat Neshak held on for his first save after allowing 2 hits and a run in the 9th. The Phils go for the series win tomorrow evening.
