The Phillies take 2 of 3 on the road in Kansas City. They were able to bounce back after a poor effort in game 1. This is a pattern that is now forming for the Phillies. Zach Efflin threw a complete game shutout and is the first pitcher in the MLB to have 2 complete games this year. Cole Irvin made his big league debut and got the W with 7 strong innings! The Phillies now head home for 4 games against the Brewers.
