I was reading Tangle's reporting on the Iran war. Tangle is an award-winning media organization that covers major political stories in the U.S. by summarizing arguments from the right, left, and center. I was intentionally looking for something more balanced because I know I tend to lean left, and I’m trying to open my mind and listen to perspectives that challenge my own.

I wanted to think through my feelings about the war in Iran without pretending that I know everything. Instead, I wanted to give myself space to sit with the emotions it brings up. Because the truth is, I do feel some kind of way about the war, and about the world right now.
