How do poetic and philosophical approaches help us to understand the true nature of things? In this episode of the Devotional Doctors podcast, Bryan interviews brothers Abe and Sam Peters, who co-host the "Poets & Philosophers" podcast. Together, they explore some of the questions behind the great tradition, and how these different ways of understanding integrate mind with body and spirit. We look at how image- or story-based poetry differs from rhyme-and-meter poetry. And we see examples in the Scriptures of both poetic and philosophical ways of understanding man's relationship with God. At the end, Sam and Abe leave us with some strong book recommendations and wisdom, both modern and ancient.
