Continuing our focus on Aristotle’s ethics we cover LA Kosman’s “Being Properly Affected”. In this paper Kosman introduces his idea that we choose the emotions we feel by expanding the definition of “choice”. This is then paired with the virtues of Aristotle to make for a voluntary and ethical analysis of feelings as well as actions.
