Today is Indigenous Peoples Day, and the city is celebrating in a big way. Right now through tomorrow night, the Indigenous Peoples Day Rise and Thrive Nite Market is taking place at Arizona Center on North Third Street. This two-night showcase features over 50 Indigenous vendors offering authentic food, handcrafted artwork, and cultural goods. You'll catch live performances from the Cha'Be'Tu Apache Crown Dance Group, the Coatlicue Aztec Dancers, and One Way Sky, an award-winning alternative rock band from the Gila River Indian Community. The market runs from 6 to 10 PM both tonight and tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow, head to the Heard Museum on North Central Avenue from 11 AM to 3 PM for Indigenous Peoples Day 2025: Everybody Dance. The museum is hosting a high-energy silent disco, a Walia dance contest, and chair Zumba. Regular museum admission gets you access to all the festivities plus their world-class exhibitions of American Indian art.

If you're in Scottsdale tomorrow afternoon, Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West is presenting Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration with Yellow Bird Productions from 3 to 6 PM. The event features Apache flute player Ken Duncan, tribal dance presentations from Doreen Duncan, and an exciting hoop dance performance by champion Talon Duncan. Food and beverages are included with museum admission.

For classical music fans, Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton is being performed by the Phoenix Symphony today at 2 PM at Symphony Hall. Experience the haunting melodies from beloved films brought to life by a full orchestra.

The Arizona State Fair continues through October 26th with daily entertainment, including Turn the Page performing classic rock tonight at 6 PM and 8:30 PM, celebrating the greatest hits of Bob Seger.
