Homelessness, crime, and city government.  Phoenix City Council candidate Sam Stone's family moved to Arizona 30 years ago, and he's been a resident of District 6  in Phoenix for the last 4. He is a small business owner, sports nut, and a policy geek. For the last four and a half years, he served as current Councilman Sal DiCiccio’s chief-of-staff, helping craft and guide policy for the office – serving Phoenix and its residents to the best of his ability. He had previously served as the Director of the Civics Education Initiative at the Joe Foss Institute, and had run a number of local and federal candidate campaigns. Currently, he is the host of the Broken Potholes radio show and podcast.
