The Phoenix Mercury kept the heat blazing with an 85–79 win over the Indiana Fever — marking Phoenix’s second straight victory and Indiana’s second straight defeat. Alyssa Thomas powered the charge with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists, nearly posting yet another triple-double. Satou Sabally (13 points) and Kahleah Copper (11 points) gave the Mercury steady contributions on both ends, while the bench provided the spark to seal the deal.

This win shows the Mercury are building real momentum in the back half of the season, finding balance between their Big 3 and role players. With composure in crunch time and their defense setting the tone, Phoenix is looking more and more like a team nobody wants to face down the stretch
