Community members in Phomolong, Free State, barricaded roads, stopped local businesses, transport, and schooling after residents alleged that outsiders were being employed at a local solar panel project instead of unemployed residents. Acting Premier of the Free State, Jabu Mbalula, met with this project’s investors and the Matjhabeng municipality today.
