Clipped from #99. The Young Wade Donze makes a great observation in today's society. When we hit road blocks in social settings, we tend to use our phone as a scapegoat. I've been guilty of this myself; especially when I'm on a date. We're talking, laughing, everything's going great then suddenly the conversation hits that road block and its our initial reaction to pick up or phone (or drink) to help us get passed this conversation road block.
