Phonic - First Expression (Tape Rip, 1997)
A bit of 90s drum & bass I worked on with the band Phonic which was myself & Alex Lennon. I think this was recorded around 1997.
This demo attracted attention from the management of LeftField & label Higher Ground (a version appears on the compilation 'Sounds of the Irish Underground' )
Like most things in life it didn't quite work out, but it's nice to hear this track so many years later. Pretty happy with the drum programming if not the whole track considering the basic set-up it was made on.
