In a little underground room in the middle of Taipei, a tall man with a big voice is aiming his weapon at a young woman in an evening gown. She looks a little nervous under the spotlight, but seconds before he shoots her, he cracks a joke and a smile breaks across her face.

I’m Andrew Ryan and in today’s Ear to the Ground, Natalie Tso and I are being shot – by a photographer – for the radio station’s annual calendar.
