We are so excited to welcome Bianca Frogner to Pain Reframed! Bianca published a paper, in May, titled: “Physical Therapy as the First Point of Care to Treat Low Back Pain: An Instrumental Variables Approach to Estimate Impact on Opioid Prescription, Health Care Utilization, and Costs.” Bianca, Tim, and Jeff will discuss the findings and outcomes from this paper in today’s episode. Bianca is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, Director of the Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS), and Deputy Director of the Primary Care Innovation Lab (PCI-Lab) in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington. Don’t forget to save the date: March 8-10, 2019 in Denver, Colorado, the Align Conference returns! This year’s focus is on movement and pain.
