Shayan is able to work on a number of clinical procedures including lumbar punctures, skin and muscle biopsies. Shayan has also developed, implemented and delivered regular lumbar puncture teaching and is trained to perform greater occipital nerve (GON) blocks for acute neurology patients with occipital neuralgia, cluster and cervicogenic headaches. Shayan has also worked on a “neurology virtual clinic” - a unique virtual post-discharge clinic for neurology inpatients’ investigations, to improve follow up and the safety of patient care.
