Albie James is a PA employed by Alliance for Better Care, GP Federation, and works in a split role with Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust.  This was part of wider integration work, implemented to explore potential benefits of working across organisational boundaries. 
 
Albie chats about what attracted him to such a novel way of working, and some of the benefits he's able to bring to both roles. There are many models of split roles and careful consideration should be given to contract arrangements, primary employer, etc. when setting them up.
