She's an assistant professor of physics and core faculty member in Women’s Studies at the University of New Hampshire, and she's author of “The Disordered Cosmos: A Journey into Dark Matter, Spacetime, and Dreams Deferred,” a book about the work she’s done to rethink our understanding of the cosmos and make space for more Black, queer people in STEM.
