The Indian unit of Italian motor vehicle manufacturer Piaggio is planning to launch a special electric scooter for the Indian market soon.

The scooter will be a specialised version of its electric scooter, Vespa Elettrica, which was unveiled at the ongoing Auto Expo 2020.

We are exploring multiple platforms for designing electric mobility solutions for India,” said Piaggio India CEO and managing director, Diego Graffi.
