PicoDMZ β v1.1.1 Demo
This video shows the current state of the PicoDMZ project: a Nintendo Game Boy DMG rebuilt around RP2040/RP2350 hardware while preserving as much of the original hardware and feel as possible.
What you see in the video:
Two original Game Boy cartridges are scanned and used to load their corresponding ROMs from microSD, recreating the physical interaction of swapping cartridges while using modern embedded hardware internally.
β οΈ Turn audio on β the custom startup sequence includes a recreated boot sound inspired by the original Game Boy.
