As we move through life, it's natural to want things to appear perfect on the outside. We do our best to make our lives appear ideal—the perfect job, the perfect life partner, the perfect home, and the perfect family. We put on a brave face, make sure our Instagram feeds look immaculate, and pretend that there's no room for struggle or disappointment.
It’s ok to not be ok. It's ok to feel pain and disappointment. This isn't a sign of failure—it's just a reminder that we are all fragile and vulnerable in some way. It takes courage to acknowledge it and even more courage to move forward in spite of it.
