There are many similarities between pilgrimage and the labyrinth. In fact, in times when pilgrims could not walk to sacred sites (be they Santiago de Compostela, Rome or Jerusalem), they were encouraged to walk the labyrinth as a symbolic means of journeying inwards.

In this Zoom presentation to the Cathedral Labyrinth Guild, I share the story of my pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem with Alberto Agraso, and the lessons learned from the inner journey that parallels walking the labyrinth.
