In this sermon, His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London, uses the Biblical account of the children of Israel journeying through the wilderness as an example of how we can find safety, comfort and power in God Who leads us through the wilderness to a place of fulfilment and joy. His Eminence also encourages us that it is normal to want to turn back in our spiritual lives to 'the old' and 'familiar' but that we should be wise in continuing on with the journey as it will come to a desirable end if we are faithful.
