With the WWF beginning to trail behind in a ratings war against WCW, the company took a leap of faith with an angle that is still revolutionary to this day.

 

After having his ankle shattered by Steve Austin just weeks before, Brian Pillman was stuck in his home defenseless against Austin who threatened to lead a home invasion.

 

During an interview with Kevin Kelly at the beginning of RAW, Pillman showed a glock and threatened to shoot Austin live on air. Over the course of the hour long program, Austin battled his way into Pillman's home only for a crazed Pillman to point the gun at him before the feed cut out.

 

No one was murdered during this program but it was some of the most engaging content the WWF/E has ever put out. While we are covering this for the comedy and how ridiculous it was, this is the most well done angle we've watched! We hope you enjoy it!
