What does being a visionary mean in the current day? It can be hard to say when you take a linear path from an academic career into a full time job. But to me it means being a little childish and believing. We all have those wild dreams. What if I could solo backpack in the alps? What if I could study at a prominent school in your field? What if I could be lectured on hard work by an old farmer in the south of France? I did. The only thing more important than being a visionary is being someone who acts.
