<p>Welcome to the Protecting Patients. Preventing Harm. This podcast is the capstone for the project Protect to Prevent. Included in the podcast are Jasmine Saluja, the founder of this initiative, and a collection of doctors, lawyers, malpractice survivors, and those impacted by it. Protect to Prevent strives to bring reform to the medical system in Baltimore city in order to create a safe environment where patients can place confidence in their doctors. By educating low-income residents, they will be able to protect themselves from becoming the next victim of medical malpractice. Our mission is to shift the narrative from fear of medical professionals by informing patients about the rights they have to protect themselves.</p>
