Former sports broadcasting colleagues Austin Lyon and Adam Shadoff join me to discuss our recent golf trip to the Pinehurst area where we actually didn't play any of Pinehurst's 18-hole courses. The U.S. Open was going to make it difficult to get onto #2, #4 and #10, so we pivoted and it turned out to be one of the best golf trips our group has experienced.
Our itinerary:
Fly-In Day - 9 holes at Raleigh Golf Association
Day 1: 36 at CCNC - Dogwood and Cardinal
Day 2: Mid-South and Pine Needles
Day 3: Tobacco Road and Cradle
Day 4: Southern Pines and Mid-Pines
Fly-Out Day - Tot Hill Farm
