The Pink Ribbon Celebration is in its ninth year of celebrating breast cancer survivors with a special night with dinner and entertainment. The organizers: breast cancer survivor Deborah Mauldin and Janine Mingi of Compassion in Action along with guest speaker and colorectal cancer survivor, Michaelk Holtz join Michele Silva with the details.

It's "Adopt a Shelter Pup Month." The Morristown/Hamblen Humane Society is hosting an adoption event with many other rescues at an upcoming ride.  So, even if you don't have a motorcycle, you'll still have a great time. Angel Oakley, one of the board members, shares what you need to know about the event and the shelter... and the importance of adopting instead of shopping!
