A Delightful & Enthralling Time Travel Romance

Following the painful dissolution of her marriage, Phoebe Turlow travels to a Caribbean island. There she journeys back in time and meets the notorious, dashing pirate Duncan Rourke. Neither Phoebe nor her pirate can envision the glorious adventure that is about to begin. They understand only that they have found each other and a grand passion, across the chasm of time... and they fear only the moment when it may vanish again.

Wow, what an utterly captivating and unforgettable romance! This story drew me in from the very beginning and held me spellbound the entire time. Though it starts out in 1995, most of it takes place in 1780, during the American Revolution. From the Caribbean Islands to South Carolina to the open seas, this tale had it all - adventure, passion, heartbreak and betrayal. Phoebe and Duncan practically jumped off the pages and then there was his best friend, as well as the entire lovable Rourke family, and the mysterious and wise "Old Woman" who I adored! There's also a jealous ex-lover, a rival pirate, and the British military to deal with. In the end this book filled me with a riot of emotions, including laughter and tears. The connection and chemistry between Duncan and Phoebe was soul touching and honestly one of the most beautiful and lovely romances I've read in quite some time. Ms. Miller is a truly gifted storyteller and I'd not only recommend this book, but its also going on my keeper shelf!
