We start out in this week’s Check-In with our Thanksgiving stories. Jason starts us out with talking about his Thanksgiving being quite different this year due to COVID, but also the missing presence of his parents. Edward’s Thanksgiving was spent at work yet was nice and family-oriented. Lorri’s Thanksgiving was spent with a small group of family and ended with laughing around the television watching Christmas movies.
In our Deep Dive, this week we talk about how grateful we are for the health care providers that understand that the people they serve are people that need love and community. Especially in this time of COVID, these front line workers are the only human contact many of our loved ones have. This a thankful shout-out and a sharing of some of our personal stories about people who change the lives of others.
Keeping with the Thanksgiving theme, our Off the Rails this week is the retelling of a crazy dream Edward has about opened a restaurant in Canada. There’s excitement, laughter, early customers, treasure, an evil villain, and Asbestos.
