Woke up at 2:55 AM to preorder a Playdate portable gaming console. The order form screwed up in a bunch of ways meaning that I couldn’t complete the order that I placed to get one from the first batch of machines to ship. So frustrating. I’ve followed this project for so long, and been looking forward to them going on presale literally for years - I’ve been an evangelist for the product and told scores of people about it - so to miss out on being able to order in that first batch that will ship this year was so upsetting. Called my bank when they were open later in the morning and was finally able to order one. Won’t ship until next year though. Such a bummer because I’ll see all the reviews and stuff as they ship and all that’ll be in my mind will be how I don’t have one yet - and it wasn’t my fault! Fuck. Then worked. A package of a gift from Dani and Harry arrived. Very sweet gift of a Viz jigsaw puzzle. Must work on it soon. Pissed on my plants, on the advice of people on Facebook. Walk.
