Phoebe interviews Craig Kallsen, the subtropical and pistachio tree crop advisor for Kern County, to talk about what we know and don’t know about dormancy in pistachios. Craig also talks about a paper he published recently looking at the correlation between winter and spring temperatures and current season’s yield. This is an ongoing area for research and there are still more questions than we have answers.
