We finally have our first guest on the podcast, Gabrielle Friedman!! In this podcast, we talk about the liberal arts experience. Gabrielle talks about what it was like going to a predominantly white institution as a black person and what it was like finding community. We also talk about creativity during the pandemic. Gabrielle and Kyle discuss what it was like to graduate and finish their degree during a pandemic. Then we discuss how we are finding motivation and what we have access to during this time. We get a little spicy in this episode, so here is your warning. In this episode, we assign composers a drink based on their vibe. some composers were really easy to pin down, and others were tough to figure out. This is our opinion on the composers' vibe and you might think otherwise. Here are the composers we talk about in order:
Kyle and Sarah-Jane go over the dynamic of the teacher and the student. They touch on their experiences of teacher dynamics, is it good or bad. Each of them goes over their experience with instructors and give tips to future instructors. Kyle asks a very meaningful question to his students. Sarah gives her top five tips for teaching.
