Watch entrepreneurial students compete for $10,000 in prizes at the annual Pitch It! competition, April 19, 7 p.m. at Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest, Ill.

Six companies will present their original business ideas in front of a panel of five Chicago-area business owners in this second-annual shark-tank-like competition. These entrepreneurial Foresters are selling everything from a compression leg sleeve for recovering athletes to pinless boutonnieres to a live streaming service, and more. Whose project will woo the judges on April 19?

All-Out Spray–James Winkler ’18: This device dispenses liquid typically left unused in other spray bottles.

Boullé–Evelyn Johnson ’18 and Mat Obstoj ’17: This reusable aluminum magnetic casing eliminates the need for pins in boutonnieres.

IC Sleeves–Rocco DiMatteo ’17: This leg sleeve combines icing and compression to aid recovery in athletes.

Power Clique–Lindelo Dlamini ’18: This organization empowers women through an annual leadership and mentorship conference..

Swazi Jive Entertainment–Sakhile Nkambule ’17: This highly successful full-service entertainment company is looking to expand its operations to include a marketing division.

Virtual Events–Tyler Armentrout ’18: This online service live streams every concert on an artist’s tour for $20 a ticket.
