Today’s Productivity Thursday looks at music apps. There are many apps out there that let you show your creativity in music.
For example, for you vocalists, check out Pitch Pipe. It’s a simple app – choose the note and you hear a tone. Match the tone, then pause the sound when done. If you need another tone, just hit the note.
This is not only great for a vocalist, but someone who needs to match sound. As a percussionist, I used pitch pipes to tune tympani. If I could put that on a table, with a earphone in one ear, that would help any tympanist get the right note.
We also look at Lyric Master 4000. This is an app for the Lyricist, a speech writer or someone working on a book. You record your thoughts, then set up the timestamp to hash out the lyrics.
Lyric Master 4000 lets you record the file in-app, then set up sections to write. You can delete sections, or restart. When done, you can email the completed work to you or friends.
