Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures just announced their new season!
Executive Director of Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures, Sony Ton-Aime, gives Voice of the Arts an exclusive look at their upcoming Ten Evenings 2025-2026 Season. The season opens on September 15th with Jill Lepore and her new book "We the People". Aligning with the 250th anniversary of the United States, this non-fiction book dives into the U.S Constitution. Jill will present her book and will be available afterwards to sign books.
The rest of the season includes Elizabeth Gilbert, Padma Lakshmi, Beth Macy, Merlin Sheldrake, Michael Chabon, Calvin Duncan and Sophie Cull, and Angela Flournoy. There are novels, non-fiction, cook books, memoirs, and many more. Pittsburgh native Michael Chabon will close the season out on May 11th, 2026 with his yet-to-be-announced novel "The Night Garden".
Sony talks about all of the amazing authors coming through Pittsburgh next year. He also notes that full-season subscribers will receive a custom notebook and pen to take notes during the lectures.
