The Steelers heading into 2023 regular season with QB Kenny Pickett playing at a high caliber, setting up the WR duo of George Pickens and Diontae Johnson for a stellar season. As the early part of the season progressed, the offense became more predictable and basic. This promoted the Steelers to fire OC Matt Canada in the middle of the season, a rarity for the Steelers as they don't fire coaches during the season.
