Welcome back ya’ll! After a couple of weeks off due to life “lifing”, we’re back for another episode discussing how to pivot on purpose
Let’s face it, Black professionals in today’s society need to pivot to survive. Without having retirement vehicles such as pensions or relying on social security to be available, it is vital to pivot to maximize your skills in the market. But is it too risky to pivot into a new organization, new industry, or even pivot into becoming an entrepreneur?
We also dive into The Battle of Montgomery. Yes, we are late coming to the party, but you know we had to celebrate “Us” and give our perspective on the Riverboat Brawl. This might have to become another Federal Holiday next to Juneteenth!
These Lizzo allegations are wild! Clay’s hometown of Philly will be impacted by Made in America being cancelled this year, and Lizzo was due to headline!
Lastly, we are all hurt by hearing The Blind Side was allegedly an entire lie constructed by The Tuohy Family. If you haven’t heard, Michael Oher, former professional football player whose story was portrayed in the 2009 American sports drama film, is suing the Tuohy Family claiming that they lied about adopting him! Wow….
