Welcome back to Two Nerds and a Universe! This week Alex and Brandon settle one of the biggest debates in animation history — Pixar vs Dreamworks. And yes, they actually reach a conclusion.
Before diving in, the guys do a quick nerd culture check-in: The Boys is back, new Star Wars episodes are dropping (Darth Maul and Darth Talon theories incoming), and Daredevil is live — catch up before Brand New Day hits.
Then it's all animation. The boys break down the full Pixar Theory — from A Good Dinosaur all the way through Wall-E and Monsters Inc. — and debate which Pixar movies actually deserve a 10/10 (spoiler: they do NOT agree). Ratatouille, Incredibles, Wall-E, Coco, Finding Nemo, Up, Inside Out — all on the table, all getting judged.
On the Dreamworks side: Prince of Egypt gets its flowers, Shrek 2 gets crowned, How to Train Your Dragon is called the greatest animated trilogy ever made, and Megamind somehow ends up as a ten. Chicken Run, Sinbad, and Spirit also catch some stray shots along the way.
By the end, one nerd leans Dreamworks, one stays Pixar — and they want to know where YOU stand.
