Mark Friedrich the @AdventureEdGuy has been teaching for 27 years. He currently teaches at Millburn High School in New Jersey. He is nationally recognized and award winning teacher for his Adventure Education program. In 2016, he was the Shape NJ high school teacher of the year. In 2021, he was Shape America's Joy of Effort Award winner. Mark shares why he got into teaching, who influenced his career, what is adventure education, liability concerns, and the importance of "Connecting before Content."
