One of the most perplexing bank robberies in American history involved a pizza delivery driver, an elaborate bomb and a scavenger hunt. It took the FBI four years to conclude the bizarre case and even then some are still sceptical about the outcome. For more on this subject I recommend the Netflix documentary 'Evil Genius'. 

Where Curiosity Killed the Cat differs from the saturated genre of true crime is that it focuses more on mystery than investigation procedural. A lot of the cases covered do not have solid conclusions and its the fascination with the inexplicable that drives this series.
