After growing up on the west side of Chicago’s neighborhood called “L Town,” (due to the majority of streets starting with the letter L) James attended Plainfield Central High School. During his High School years, James began refining his craft as a Hip Hop rapper, and exercising his wordplay. James’ favorite artists in Hip Hop are Jay-Z, T.I., and Biggie Smalls. James’ main goal is very simple: To be the very best at his craft, “ I just wanna be the best in the business period.” If James had a choice of who he would most like to work with (living artists) it would be with Kanye West. J- Aims always prefers to go out rather than stay at home; he prefers to play nba2k, or mingle and meet people. In his free time you will find J Aims watching Oklahoma Thunder, and Chicago Bulls NBA Basketball games on television. If you believe in the search for excellence, J- Aims is the new Hip Hop rising star you must hear as soon as possible.
