I asked Matthew his thoughts on this, what he thinks the challenges are to delivering M&A more efficiently and effectively, and specifically how he leads through this change to de-risk the journey and improve performance.

As he says, why would you go through an acquisition and buy a business and not invest in getting to know people, communicating, listening and building relationships and trust.
