There's no doubt in my mind that part of the answer is a deep seated purpose, a social conscience and ambition to do better business in a better way. The results of this internal drive are evident, not just in his boundless energy for an old man ( just joking, Andrew!!) but in the commercial outcomes that allow for additional community benefits. 

One lesson for me was the comment on the power of focussing on three things. Makes sense!
