The audio for "Zukunftstanz" ("future dance") was created using a generative process beginning with the title being used as a text prompt for Dream.ai. The resulting image was resized and then processed by the image2sound Python utility, which converted it to audio using the RGB values of each pixel. The red, green, and blue files were imported into Audacity, panned to broaden the stereo spectrum, and further enhanced with reverb, EQ, and fades. For this particular piece, a reversed version of the audio was overlaid onto the original, creating the unique fade-in echoes you hear in the final form.
