Artificial reefs don’t just have to be sunken ships, but can be beautiful works of art as well. These reefs can become a tourist attraction and a chance to learn about ocean restoration efforts.
Shelby Thomas and her team at Ocean Rescue Alliance are creating artificial reefs to increase engagement and understanding around how we can save our ocean habitats.
Because although the ocean can be so mysterious, all life depends so much on the ocean, and the ocean not just being there, but being healthy as well.
