Planning a Writing Retreat - Asking for Input

Listen Later

Before you get too deep into planning your writing retreat, you want to make sure you're creating a retreat people will pay money to attend.

The best way to do that is to ask the writers you want to serve at your writing retreat. You can do this through a lot of different ways:

  • Ask your current clients if you're a book coach, editor, or work in the writing industry.
  • Poll your email newsletter subscribers either in the email or a link to a survey.
  • Create posts or separate polls on social media.
  • Ask in online and offline writing groups you belong to if the rules allow it.
  • Schedule information calls using a platform like Calendly or Acuity

In this episode, I share what to ask potential writing retreat goers and where to ask them.
