This is a new month and we and stepping into the next stage of building a digital footprint in cyberspace. Every Wednesday @12PM we will discuss important information about your web presence.

We discussed question we ask oursleves when decide to build a website: In other words, what is the purpose of the website and the elements that constitutes an effective website. 

  1. What is your overall objective for your website? Ex. Showcase my beauty business 
  2. Who is your target audience? Ex. Women and men who are looking to groom themselves. 
  3. Where is your target audience? Ex. Montego Bay, Germany, Uk, Canada. 
  4. How do you want visitors to describe the “feel” of your website? Ex. Bright, creative, Colorful, Easy to navigate. 
  5. How much information do you want to provide on your website? Ex. As much as possible 
  6. Do you want to interact with customers using your website? YES NO NOT SURE 
  7. Do you want to establish yourself as  the leader in skin and beauty care (to build credibility) through your site? YES NO NOT SURE 
  8. Do you want to increase referrals with your site? YES NO NOT SURE 
  9. Do you want to drive business to a brick-and-mortar store? YES NO NOT SURE 
  10. Do you want to collect visitors’ contact information? YES NO NOT SURE 
  11. Do you want to sell products or services on your site? YES NO NOT SURE If so, do you want to process payments on your site? 

    12. These are the things we will be looking at this month.
