Everton will host a special ‘End of an Era’ celebration after the final whistle of the final game at Goodison Park. Guest presenters, current and former players and live music will all feature as part of the post-match entertainment to mark the historic occasion.
The event will last for around an hour and will follow what is set to be an emotional match against Southampton - the game that will mark the conclusion of 133-years of the club’s senior men’s team playing at the iconic stadium.
Before the match a special coach welcome will be organised to welcome the players. That is set to be organised by the 1878s supporters' group, which held one spectacular final display in the stands ahead of the draw with Ipswich Town last Saturday.
Join Ian Croll, Joe Thomas a guest Damian Kennedy for the Friday edition of the Royal Blue podcast as they look ahead to Fulham away and discuss Goodison Park’s final game.
