There have recently been some changes made to the substack editor, changes which appear to overlap glitches I’ve experienced with version control (drafts saving as you go).

I’m not entirely sure what happened with the last posting, but I think the version that went out to e-mail subscribers contained a fairly grave error in which several different drafts somehow merged together, creating the appearance of the posting “re-starting” several times over.

This . . . hadn’t been that way, immediately prior to me rubbing mitts and smashing that PUBLISH button.

I don’t know what happened, there.        Here’s hoping it’s a rarity.

Given that I’ve established a framework here wherein such a conceit might not be out of bounds, I wanted you to know that it wasn’t supposed to be that way, and that if you received a choppy copy I’d love it if you’d give the FI𝑿ED version a whirl.

Tragically! — It appears that the changes to the editor have also removed a couple of features that I had been using to format/set text in specific ways.    ) - :
