“Señora Jackie” started the Cultural Bytes INTERACTIVE LANGUAGE PROGRAM to make learning Spanish, French and Mandarin for kids fun and engaging. Actively teaching for over 30 years toddlers to college students she finally settled for elementary school students when she started her program in 2010.

Starting off with a few schools for enrichment classes and handful locations for camps we grew our program to teach almost 300 kids per year!

With the pandemic, we’ve quickly and successfully adjusted to ONLINE classes in all three languages. And, now we offer ADULT classes, too.  

Our kids' ages 4-8 learn better in reduced-size classes. All of them absorb so much more in a small and focused environment. In-person camps in the Los Angeles area with less than ten kids vs Live one-on-one Online classes whenever and wherever… it’s so hard to choose…

A spiral curriculum sprinkled with fun theme-based activities; rich vocabulary and expressive language cleverly infused; using only the target language along with a variety of cultural aspects interwoven with colorful materials and outstanding teachers are just part of our hidden success over the years.

It’s easy to trace where my love of digital started. A friend’s dad showed me

and his son how to write HTML code. Learning the basics of how to build a

website sparked a love of digital marketing that continues to this day. Over the years I’ve developed my digital marketing skills with a strong focus on

SEO, copywriting and blogging. Even after all of these years, I’m still curious

about online marketing, SaaS, and all things digital.

In the last decade, I’ve launched an eBook publishing company, a global

e-commerce shop and started the current brands in the AJS Digital Group’s

portfolio. Also, I’ve built countless websites for a range of clients and advised many on

how to develop and implement a digital strategy for their business. Outside work, I enjoy playing guitar, tennis and exploring country houses!

Richard Waine was born and raised in Queens, New York at a time when shag carpeting was still in style. After Graduating from Hofstra University he spent the better part of his career in the financial world, working long stressful days on Wall Street. After seeing a YouTube video of Peter Hurley, he dove into headshot photography. In awe of Hurley's energy, knowledge and personality, Richard made the commitment to pursue headshots as his specialty. After meeting Peter and spending time with him at an industry conference, Richard was confident that this was his calling. Peter wasn't so sure.
